Lead strategic transformation as a Director of Pharmacy, shaping pharmacy services into a vital enterprise service line focused on clinical excellence, health equity, financial sustainability, and innovation. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all pharmacy operations ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead HRSA 340B Drug Pricing Program compliance, audit readiness, and program optimization.
- Manage full P&L responsibilities including budgeting, revenue growth, and contract pharmacy performance.
- Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge, maintaining licensure and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and clinical teams to advance medication access and patient-centered care initiatives.
- Develop pharmacy policies, quality assurance programs, and foster continuous quality improvement.
- Recruit, supervise, and support pharmacy staff development and performance.
- Provide clinical oversight for medication management and serve as a resource for therapeutic decision-making.
- Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance pharmacy operations and 340B performance.
- Stay current on pharmacy best practices, regulations, and industry trends to drive innovation and compliance.
Qualifications And Experience
- Graduate from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Minimum of seven years’ experience as an outpatient pharmacy supervisor.
- At least three years’ experience managing outpatient pharmacy 340B programs within FQHC, HRSA, and AAAHC settings.
- Preferred certifications include BCACP, 340B University On-Demand, and 340B Advanced Operations Certificate (340B ACE).
Working Conditions: Position requires presence in healthcare facility environments with exposure to infectious agents and potential for travel to community meetings and partner sites. Physical duties include walking, standing, communication, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds. The role demands strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities under deadlines with frequent interruptions.
